SMPIA Member Fahrenheit Films is moving into Season 3 of the documentary series Paramedics: Emergency Response for City Saskatchewan. They are looking for a full time Production Assistant to join their team.

The position has several production duties: Assisting with the loading and loading of gear; mounting and running fixed go-pro cameras; interacting with people on scene and setting up interviews; securing release forms from subjects and first responders both on the day and by following-up; possibly photographing some documentary subjects, creating production reports on google docs; and potentially some shooting.

The ideal candidate is an intelligent, mature, independent, emerging film student or professional. Film experience and training is a definite plus, as is a photography background. You will need the ability to think and act quickly on the job in dynamic and changing situations. As this is a documentary about Paramedics, professionalism is also critical. They expect to be filming aprox 20/days per month in September and October.

Film and set experience / training preferred.
Our perfect candidate would also be someone interested in a future with the company.
Must be a Saskatchewan resident.
