COMPLETE LATEX MASK MAKING TUTORIAL!!!

Take in a FREE online DIY face mask tutorial with none other than Regina resident JC Wylde. Wylde makes movie Props, Masks, & Displays and sells his artwork all around the World. He has had praise from Hollywood (including the actors who play the characters he replicates). In this workshop, JC will explain all of the tools and supplies, how to use these specific sculpting tools, how to make a plaster mold, de-mold the sculpture, prep the mold for use, the pouring of the latex, the pulling of raw latex blank, and the painting and finishing of the latex mask.

 

 

 


BRENDA SHENHER – COSTUME DESIGNER SESSION

Brenda Shenher will discuss the “special something” that can be found in Saskatchewan people and, through the lens of her career as an International Costume Designer, will give its participants a set of processes that will aid them to succeed in Costume Departments around the World.

In this ZOOM meeting, Kenny Chaplin will provide a study of the unique culture, language and protocols of film and television production. Through defining entry-level positions, he reveals the tools, pieces, and players of a film production. This direct-from-the-field material goes beyond any film school curriculum, and will help you net that first job behind-the-camera in any jurisdiction.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

Those interested in getting their foot in the door of their local film community. Those independent producers in care of building a local crew base via the film commission, unions, and guilds. And those in charge of educating the next generation of filmmakers at film schools across the country.

INSTRUCTOR:

Kenny Chaplin has been apart of the Director’s team in film & television for over 20 years. He’s worked as a member of the Director’s Guild of America (DGA) and Canada (DGC). He’s provided the call times to the likes of Ethan Hawke, James Garner, Ray Liotta, Donald Sutherland, and Abigail Breslin. His credits include features films such as Terrence Malick’s ‘The Thin Red Line’, Ang Lee’s ‘Ride With The Devil’, and Ridley Scott’s ‘Body of Lies’. His television credits include series such as ‘Judging Amy’, and ‘Roswell’.

Voice over industry/work breakdown with some live read/tips and Q&A with voice talent extraordinaire Brendan Hunter, who is best known for his many English-Version Anime roles. With classic roles on programs such as DragonballDragonball GTCardfight! VanguardLBX, and others like Hunter x Hunter, etc. Video games include the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise and others like Mega Man: Powered UpOrder & Chaos and LBX for Nintendo.
