• STUDENT FILM DAY (Nov 13)
Teens are invited to join us (it's a school holiday) to film and edit your short film under the mentorship of professional filmmakers. All projects will be screened the following evening at BEHIND THE SCREEN!

• BEHIND THE SCREEN (Nov 14)
Everyone is invited to join us at The SoundStage in Regina on Tuesday, November 14th from 6-9 p.m. for some movie magic! Go behind the screen and experience up close the specialized skills and equipment used to bring film and tv productions to life.
A unique and fun event for all ages!

Instructor Andrea Hoffman will share ideas surrounding wardrobe for both feature film and commercials on topics including:
• Conceptualizing and reinforcing a character’s personality through costume
• How to analyze a character and breakdown preparation
• Collaborative techniques to maximize the potential of characters
• Screening and analyzing illustrative examples from films
The workshop will be held Thursday Nov 16 at the Regina SoundStage from 7-9:30 p.m.
 
SASKATOON OPEN HOUSE (Nov 16)
Take a tour of Angel Entertainment's Saskatoon production facility.

• SIFA AWARDS (Nov 17)
This event, hosted by The Saskatchewan Filmpool Cooperative, celebrates Saskatchewan’s best independent films and filmmakers, and showcases to the entire province our own filmmaking talents and unique Saskatchewan culture. 
Friday 7:00 p.m. at The Artesian, 2627 13th Ave, Regina

 
This informal event, in co-operation wth SaskBooks, will connect Saskatchewan writers and publishers with filmmakers. Original Saskatchewan stories will be presented and feedback will be given from the filmmaker’s perspective.
