If you want to work on a film or television set…
To qualify for an entry-level job or on-the-job training opportunity in Saskatchewan’s film and video industry, you should have a basic understanding of working on a film set. SIAST is offering the following courses to help you get started. These courses are a part of the Film, Video and New Media Applied Certificate.
Set Protocol/Set Safety (Film 164)
Your studies will focus on the film and video set. You will learn about the scope of practice for each occupation within film, video and new media, reporting structures and union regulations. You will also study health and safety as it relates to a production set. Manual provided at class.
